FACET CONFERENCE 2018 – Forum Advocating Cultural & Eco-tourism Inc.
The theme of FACET’s 2018 Conference is ‘Fresh Thinking – Culinary Tourism’ and will be held in Busselton from 22 – 23 November.
Culinary tourism is Western Australia’s international point of difference according to Tourism WA’s Taste 2020 Strategy. FACET’s 2018 conference will explore the opportunities to grow culinary tourism in WA and showcase what is trending in food and wine in WA, Australia and internationally.
The program has been developed to include the following themes:
- The Bigger Picture – Growing Culinary Tourism Opportunities for WA;
- Culinary Tourism Experience Development – Opportunities around Produce & Culture;
- Culinary Tourism Festival & Event Development; and
- Culinary Tourism Destination Marketing
Delegates will be inspired to work within their business and collaborate within their region to grow culinary tourism in Western Australia.

Owners and managers of food, wine and tourism businesses looking to refresh and develop new visitor experiences. New culinary tourism businesses. Producers interested in developing a visitor/tourism experience. Local Government, Development Commissions and tourism organisations responsible for economic and/or destination development.
