Busselton Margaret River Airport

The announcement in October 2019 of a direct air service from Melbourne to Busselton marked the first time in 20 years that Jetstar had launched a new Australian domestic route.

After the route was postponed amidst upheaval in the travel industry due to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, sustained commitment from Jetstar, the State Government and the City of Busselton has meant that the route will be re-launched in February 2021.
