Busselton Margaret River Airport

The announcement of a direct air service from Melbourne to Busselton marks the first time in 20 years that Jetstar has launched a new Australian domestic route. The first three years of the flights are predicted to bring in 60,000 passengers and inject $40 million into the local economy.

Flights will commence on 25 March 2020 and will operate three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, landing at Busselton Margaret River Airport at 9.05am and departing at 9.40am.

In order to assist regional business to prepare in welcoming the airline passengers, MRBTA and Australia’s South West (ASW), are leading the delivery of a training and capacity building programme. Visit this page regularly for access to the latest airport and airline news and tools for operators.
