The winter months may be approaching, but there is so much in store for visitors and we are looking for new and creative ways to promote it. As the beach weather winds down, we look to the major events happening in June, July and August as well as the excitement of whale season to form the basis of our consumer marketing strategy, highlighting to visitors the amazing experiences that can be curated around these events through your businesses.
You are invited to make sure that your customers know about the following unmissable season highlights; share the web links with guests arriving during this time, make contact to request copies of event programmes and re-share the associated social media and blog content with your own networks.
Winter Play Pass
We will be re-launching the Winter Play Pass, which is suited to tours, attractions, restaurants, wineries, breweries and retail outlets and works on the simple basis of an e-voucher which can be downloaded from margaretriver.com and redeemed at participating venues. The 2018 Winter Play pass will be heavily promoted to our consumer database and given prominence in our visitor centres and Your Margaret River Region magazine winter edition.
As part of this, the July Consumer News will run a Winter Play Pass feature story, showcasing the Top 5 Winter Deals available to consumers. Submit your Winter Play Pass offer for the change to get your business directly in front of our consumer database.
To submit your offer, send a 50 word description, image and instructions on how to claim to [email protected]. A member of the MRBTA Marketing team will be in touch as soon as possible thereafter.

While the Margaret River region remains a premium destination, strategic accommodation deals at this time of year can help your business to stand out from the crowd.
MRBTA will be giving special prominence to the accommodation deals page at margaretriver.com, so we encourage you to login to Bookeasy and upload your specials as soon as possible. If you need some help with Bookeasy, take a look at our tips and hints here.
